Riding School

Our Riding School is unique: we have horses available for the very beginner through to the advanced competition rider.

All our horses and ponies are used in rotation to ensure they are turned out everyday so they can relax, play, stretch and graze, keeping them fresh and interested in their work.

We offer lesson in flat work, show jumping, dressage and cross country.

We can also offer our clients escorted hacking around the beautiful Liscombe Park Estate countryside, with the added benefit of not having to ride on any roads.

We run regular activities throughout the school holidays which cover all aspects of equine handling, welfare and general management.

All of our clients undergo an introduction / assesment lesson to obtain an overview of their riding ability and also for the Instructor to gain a sense of achievement our clients wish to aim for.

Specialised lessons including stable management, lunging, handling and grooming are always available.

All riders must wear correct footwear i.e. Wellington Boots or Riding Boots (Trainers are not permitted), shorts are not permitted and riding hats with the British Standard kite mark PAS015, BSEN 1384 or ASTM F1163 whenever mounted.

Body protectors are recommended for all jumping but are compulsory for cross country.
